Traveled to Washington DC for a New Veneer*

Procedure Details

Patient had a root canal on tooth #8 which is now discolored. Tooth was restored with a veneer and now has some chipping. To replace the veneer, we needed 1 1/2 hours. Dr. Ross explained the procedure and time with patient`s daughter. Patient explained the previous Dentist told them that a veneer would not last as long and that she would need a crown for #8. Dr. Ross explained the strength of the veneers and the 5 year guarantee that he offers on his restorations. Patient's daughter asked what is difference between crowns and veneers. Dr. Ross explained more tooth structure is taken away when doing a crown and that weakens the tooth. He also explained the CEREC material will provide a long lasting, durable veneer. Patient stated she would prefer the veneer. Tooth #8 was restored with a veneer in one visit. The patient and her daughter will be returning form Ethiopia in April 2018 to continue their dental care by completing other procedures that have been proposed.
