A Corrected Smile For This Downtown DC Woman**

Procedure Details

We took intra oral photos of a fracture on the distal of tooth #18. Dr. Ross examined and informed this patient that there is less enamel on the surface and if she does not do something soon she is going to start to loose teeth. She said she has a mental block of getting veneers before she is 50 and is concerned that once you start to trim teeth then you can't go back. Dr. Ross explained all her options, ortho and veneers, opening the bite, or just veneers. She asked what is the best treatment and Dr. Ross recommended opening the bite because she is beating up the back teeth as well as the front. She said she will do this eventually, she needs to get to the point mentally. She stated after today, she is closer to making the investment in veneers because she sees she is breaking her teeth. To open the bite, Dr. Ross would material to the back upper teeth. He gave the option of getting both the upper and lower veneers done in one day and assured her that she would be his only patient, allowing him to focus on her. Dr. Ross recommended the next best step would be the Lucia jig to see how comfortable she will be during the process also at that time we took some photos. She questioned about how she will look, Dr. Ross said he guarantees his work and if she is not pleased, he will fix it.
