Practicing good oral hygiene is something that everyone should strive for as much as possible. While nobody is perfect and we all forget to floss from time to time, or maybe drink too much coffee or other dark liquids regularly, that doesn't mean that we are neglectful of the health of our mouths.
And for folks who perhaps enjoy a few too many of those cups of coffee at work, or are just one of those go-getter types that finds themselves putting in twelve and fourteen hour days, they may find themselves in need of a quick brushing to clean up their smile and freshen up their breath. This is especially true for people who work with the public or in close contact with others. So with that in mind, here are a couple of ways that you can brush your teeth without drawing the ire of the resident office germaphobes:
Using Disposable Brushes
The little brushes that come with the gel tube in the center that you break open by biting down and then brush your teeth with are a great way to get a quick and easy scrubbing at your desk without ever even being noticed.
Break Time Can Be Brush Time
If you prefer (or need) a more thorough brushing, simply find a place to slip off during break time and get in a more complete brushing. Keeping a travel pack for oral care consisting of a toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, and mouthwash in your workstation or office makes this much easier.
While getting in a little oral care at work is certainly a healthy habit, it pales in its effectiveness to regular trips to our office for cleanings and other treatments that may be necessary. To set up your next visit, give us a call as soon as you are ready.
