One of our friendly, knowledgeable Dental Assistants at City Smiles DC, Tina Miller, will make sure your experience at our practice is a positive one.
Tina Miller, is a native of Springfield, MA. She received her Dental Assisting Certification in Raleigh, NC, in 1992. She has been a resident of the Washington, DC area since 1995, and has been with our practice at City Smiles DC since 2008. Tina feels she has found a home in this special office, and we love having her on our team. When she is not working, Tina is an avid reader and a fabulous Godmother.
Deneen Harrison Law
Deneen Harrison Law's dental assisting career began with a tour of duty in Okinawa, Japan, with the U.S. Air Force. She returned to the Washington, DC area and joined our practice in August 2005 with 20 years of experience.
She is most proud to be a part of this wonderful cosmetic dental family, which is committed to changing peoples' lives one smile at a time. Deneen and her husband, Antoin, currently reside in Upper Marlboro, DC.
Jennifer Cook is a native of Northern Virginia and she has an extensive background in hospitality. In 2013, Jennifer started her dental career as a Patient Coordinator, specializing in scheduling, insurance claims, and treatment plans.
She joined City Smiles DC in 2015.
She is a mother to a wonderful, energetic 13-year-old son and she and husband, Joe, welcomed their daughter in January 2019. Jennifer feels truly blessed to have become part of the City Smiles DC team and loves working with all our patients.
Melissa Good grew up in Michigan and graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI in 2007. She is Certified in Local Anesthetic, Nitrous Oxide Administration, and Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy. Starting as a Clinical Coordinator in Port Huron, MI, she has been in the dental field since 2004.
Melissa has worked as a Dental Hygienist in Michigan, Virginia, DC, and Singapore. While living abroad in Singapore for 3 years, she worked as a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist. She truly enjoys staying up-to-date in the dental field by taking continuing education courses, and attending dental conferences. She moved to the area in 2008, and she met her husband, Justin, on the DC Metro. They currently reside in Vienna, VA, and enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with their English bulldog, Zoey. She joined our practice in 2016.
As a Patient Coordinator at City Smiles DC, Katja specializes in scheduling, insurance claims, and treatment plans.
In 2017, Katja joined the team and started her dental career as a Patient Coordinator, specializing in scheduling, insurance claims, and treatment plans. She grew up between Heidelberg Germany and Ft. Lauderdale Florida. She attended Florida State University and before moving to Washington DC, lived in Australia for some time. Katja enjoys traveling, is an avid dog lover, and has attended over 15 music festivals.
As the Office Coordinator at City Smiles DC, Patricia Devine ensures the office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Patricia Devine grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University and Villanova grad school. She moved to Chevy Chase, MD in 1979. In 2001, she met Dr. Stuart Ross and the rest is history. They married in 2011. She is the mother to Jeff, 44, Brandon, 39, Lauren, 34, and grandmother to twins Molly and Caden, 6. After retiring from the Lab School of Washington in 2016, she joined City Smiles DC on a part-time basis. Getting to interact with the patients has been the highlight of her time at City Smiles DC.
Nishu completed her bachelor's in Science and Health Policy from the
University of Maryland in 2010 and her Dental Hygiene degree from New York
University in 2012. Nishu is CPR certified and licensed to administer local
anesthesia/nitrous oxide. Nishu continues to expand her skills by learning
and implementing new techniques to provide care to her patients. "I treat
all my patients with courtesy, respect, and the kindness they deserve. I do
this by customizing the treatment that is right for each individual and by
using the latest technology and education"
She recently moved from New York to be closer to family as it is a permanent
move for her military husband. In her free time, Nishu is cycling, hiking,
and spending quality time with husband and English Bulldog Sophie.
